In the beginning, we createdThe RadioX Underground Network - broadcasting out of a big tree and
on the air everywhere! We weren't the big guys who could buy a radio
station for millions of dollars. So we did it a bit differently. After
first going on the air August 15, 2005, 94.7FM RadioX (WLIX-LP/Ridge)
became bigger on Halloween night 2005 with the addition of two new
translator signals, 94.9FM (W235BB/Hauppauge) and
104.5FM (W238BA/Selden) that made it easy for you to take RadioX
wherever you go. Sadly, after a year and half on the air, Scotty rattled
the station piggy bank and figured out that he needed to bring in more
money. On April 1, 2007, RadioX became a web-only station and the
network of radio stations is now airing other programming. What happens
now? Well, Tim Jay is back picking the music on RadioX.FM and he
promises it will never suck. Keep listening as RadioX continues to
evolve.
Seems like everyone is on MySpace and now we are too! For the
uninitiated, MySpace is a collection of web pages created by anyone
including bands, record companies and just about every teen. Keep in
mind that we have
no control over what is said or displayed there (we have to keep reminding
Scotty). OK? Cool. Go ahead and click on the
button above, add yourself as a friend and wander around as we add new
things daily on
www.myspace.com/radioxfm!
